Activities (2007-2008) have included running our first major project the Civic Participation Network Project, funded by the Scottish Government. This aimed to remove barriers faced by those with communication support needs wishing to be active citizens.
The project has three practical outcomes:
Training
Three pilot courses in how to influence decision makers in Scotland were developed. They were aimed at people requiring support to accessible information and express their views. Results and an example of an access training module will be available for download on this site in June 2008.

Communication Support Needs Database
Offering links to communication disability organisations in Scotland, and services to assist organisations to put inclusive communication into practice.
